The PTE Academic is an English language test for people who want to study, work, or move to an English-speaking country. It checks your skills in four areas:

Writing
Reading
Listening
The test is taken on a computer. You will use a headset and microphone for the speaking part. You type your answers using a keyboard.

PTE Core is a computer-based English language test developed by Pearson. It is designed to assess your ability to use everyday English in real-world, workplace, and immigration settings.
PTE UKVI (Academic or General) is a Secure English Language Test (SELT) approved by the UK Home Office for visa and immigration purposes. It’s used to prove your English language skills when applying for:
UK Student Visas (Tier 4)
UK Work Visas
Settlement (Indefinite Leave to Remain)
British Citizenship
PTE Home A1 is a basic-level English test used for UK visa and immigration purposes. It tests your ability to speak and understand basic English in everyday situations.
PTE Academic: A fully computer-based test assessing Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking skills; scores range from 10–90 on the Global Scale of English
